How to Make Edible Putty with Marshmallow Peeps

To get started making edible marshmallow peeps putty you are going to need multiple colors of Peeps. You are going to want 3-4 different color Peeps. However, you can totally make more colors and make one amazing, colorful edible putty that everyone will want to get their hands on!

Edible Putty with Marshmallow Peeps Tips

  • If your Edible Putty starts to get firm just microwave it for 10 seconds to soften it again.

  • When you are done playing with your putty place it in an airtight container when you are ready to play with it again microwave the slime for 30 seconds and carefully knead the putty until it is smooth.

  • The pink peeps need more cornstarch than the other colors needed.

Edible Putty made with Peeps Marshmallows Ingredients

For EACH color of edible Peeps Putty you need:

  • 5 peeps (of the same color for each color you want to make)

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (you can also use coconut oil instead of vegetable oil)

  • 3-5 tablespoons cornstarch

  • Sprinkles (optional)

How to Make Peeps Putty

  1. First you are going to need a microwave safe bowl.

2. Place all 5 Peeps of the same color in the bowl with the tablespoon of oil.

3. Now take the bowl and put your peeps in the Microwave for 30 seconds.

4. Carefully remove the bowl from the microwave and stir in one tablespoon of cornstarch at a time. (You do NOT want to add in too much or you are going to end up with crazy stiff putty. So as you are adding it in little by little watch it to make sure you are not adding in to much and making it to think.)

5. Once all ingredients are mixed knead the putty with your hands to reach desired consistency. You can add more cornstarch if it is too sticky or more oil if it is not soft enough.

6. We also mixed in sprinkles. Optional but makes it more fun!

My kids had so much fun making Edible Easter Putty and it honestly does not taste bad if you enjoy Peeps! Just make sure your kid doesn't eat the whole thing at once or they will end up with an awful stomach ache!
